JAANZ Performance Live
Perform on stage every month!
One of the most popular events on our calendar, JAANZ Performance Lives”are monthly events providing an opportunity for students to perform for family & friends with a focus on the “live” element of being a performer. These events are an extension of our classes, and give students a chance to practice performance skills, build confidence, and show how much they’ve improved whilst experiencing the joy of performing on stage for an audience!
JAANZ Camp
Not your ordinary music camp.
Our annual Camp is one of the most anticipated events on our calendar, designed to inspire, motivate and help students grow as singers and artists.
Over a jam-packed weekend, students attend workshops of all things music-related - from songwriting, artistry and performance, to sessions with music industry giants, personal development/mindset coaching, vocal technique and music industry. Students will get to meet and work with other students from around the school, build their confidence, skills and knowledge, and leave feeling energised and inspired to take next step on their journey.
End of Year Showcases Series.
A celebration of our students.
Held in December at one of the city’s top music venues, our Showcase Series is a whole week of shows with over 200 performers, ending with our star-studded Super Showcases. They are a culmination and celebration of all the work our students and coaches have put in throughout the year, and a chance for them to really put on a show! The large-scale venues we use means students get to experience what putting on a professional show in a large space is like, with full scale lighting, sound and sound checks.
Special Events.
From our monthly Performance Live events, students can be chosen to perform in special events held throughout the year, including JAANZ Juniors, Rising Artists, the Band Night, Original Artist showcases, JAANZ Carols and more!
Master Class Signature Series
Learn from the best of the best.
Held both online and in person, our Signature Series Master Classes give students a chance to learn from experts and industry guests all throughout the year. Past events include music industry and artistry chats, Ralph Carr (Kate Cebrano, alumni Bonnie Anderson), Peter Karpin (Universal Music, Sony, EMI), Chong Lim (renowned music director and composer) and Bonnie Anderson (pictured - Neighbours, recording artist). Next Level Workshops
Take yourself to the next level!
These free online workshops are designed to help our students build their skills, grow their industry knowledge and take them to the next level in practical ways, covering topics from performance and songwriting, to gigging and releasing music, auditioning, mindset and more.
