At JAANZ we are global pioneers and innovators in our work on the ‘inner singer’.

Almost every other singing school purely works on a 'scales only' approach, or what we call the "outer singer". This can often result in singers sounding generic, lacking emotion and having no edge or point of difference, which is such an important aspect in the contemporary music scene. We believe that "uniqueness is power" and "originality is the currency".

At JAANZ we do solid and relevant scales and technique work along with our unique approach, which has resulted in an outstanding track record of national champions, Eurovision entrants and both local and international stars making us one of the leading contemporary singing schools in the world.

We are the first singing school in the world to have four national champions on the major TV shows, several runner-ups, three Eurovision entrants, and a list of who’s who in the Australian and Global music industry.

The 'inner singer' is about mining for uniqueness, teaching students how to tap into emotion, and how to find trademarks and your unique flow, brand and feel. It is about building strong, solid and effortless technique. It is about building confidence and the developing the mindset of a champion.
The 'inner singer' is about authenticity and the truth of a performance, it’s about feel and instinct and unlocking creativity and vision.
